OBChibi 2023 Grand Finals incident
I've been playing osu! constantly for more than 2 years now and was a "regular" tournament player. Today was the last match in a tourney against a team "forsen" that apparenly consisted a player that has been multiaccounting (bannable offence on osu!).
In the last 2 months, I was participating in a tourney called "OBChibi 2023", a tourney of players participating from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia. We were playing as a team of 3, but only 2 could play at once (2v2).
As a team, we crawled to the finals with ease, until forsen beat us with 7-6, making us lose to losers bracket. At the time we didn't know anything suspicions other than obvious deranking players. Match link: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/matches/108491046
2 weeks after, today, was a rematch after winning a match in the losers bracket. Overall we've played a bit crappy compared to other matches we've had. We lost with 7-3. Match link: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/matches/108754162
After the match, there were allegations against luxanityy, the team member of forsen; we've found out that he has been multiaccounting.
Shortly after, the reddit post on r/osureport has been made: https://www.reddit.com/r/osureport/comments/13w3az5/osustd_iamludak_multi_account/
The post covers every bit of proof that the player luxanityy (IamLudak) clearly broke the rule, more info on the post of course.
After almost 2hrs after the match, the OBC staff terminated the team and our team won this year of OBChibi.
I've been participating in 5 tournaments so far: UTS Cup, OBChibi 2022, Nocy's 2nd Volitile Cup, Bubble's Cup and this one. I've never played a tournament against someone that is using something in others' disadvantage, this time another account just for the tournament (to fit the requirement). It's just unfair and I have no other words to describe that. It's just pure stupidity.
I hope this settles down for everyone as it was pretty heated both for our team and the staff...
